so the work attachment at the zoo is over ,

but i had real loads of fun with the keepers and trainers 

as well as the commentators and my friends!! :D

the experience was awesome and we will go back

and volunteer whenever we are free.

last day working at the zoo (saturday) and my sis

and janan came to "visit" me. they left at arnd

2-3pm++ and i continued with my work all the way.

followed rajan to the quarantine center and i finally got to

sit on a buggy instead of walking arnd the entire zoo. 

what a relief. haha

went to cut some leaves for the guanaco's and rambutans for the monkeys.

stayed all the way till 5++6?? cos it was then that it decided

to rain yet again.

the 1st one was during lunch. :)

couldn't bear to leave. but when i did.

i made sure i was coming back

and yes i definitely am going back

to volunteer AGAIN at the same section.

the GIBBON section. :)

took 138 to AMK hub to meet up with sis and janan and 

ate dinner there.

after which , we took 138 back to go to the night safari

cos i got a 50% coupon from rajan. heh. :)

took the tram ride walked arnd and watched the creatures of the night show.

the whole thing was really awesome.

although today was supposed to be spent doing my holiday homework ,

i slacked almost a lot.

there's class later at 8.15pm.

although this week's only for exam ppl , i have to go 

to make up for the lessons missed last week while i was away on a work attachment. :/

and guess what?

its open house today for the exam ppl.

and i will get super embarrassed in front of their parents 

cos my ballet is soo bad compared to theirs.

and there's pointe work too.

yippy.

i don't even know the syllabus that well.

lets hope she just puts me at the back and ignore me.

but thats the worse part.

cos than i think i would be wasting my time.

but oh well.

all i can do is hope and pray that everything

goes well. :)

and that we're only gna do 1 pirouette instead of 2. :/

missing the zoo loads already.

just cos it keeps me so occupied that i don't have to think of anything else.

apparently there's a performance on the 27th at the CC.

don't even know if i'm in cos i was not present the whole of last week.

haven't been posting cos i'm currently on my 3rd last
day of my work attatchment at the singapore zoo. :)
the moment i say this , so many things pop into my mind that i
want to type it all out to share with you earthlings. but , let
me update u on whats going on first.

Sunday(7/6/09)
met Lindsay , Jieyi , Jia hao and Brendon for
dinner at kallang leisure park.
went to the arcade and raced with jia hao ,
was ahead of him almost the whole way and lost to him
in the end cos of a stinking turn that was sooooo near the finishing line. :/
proceeded for dinner at "iwannagetstuffed" - alex's parents restaurant.
it was like and Indonesian buffet dinner , so you can expect me to go crazy.
which i did. :)
and i was the last one to finish eating too. HAHA.
cos the rest had already finished and while i was still chewing the food ,
they would say really funny things, i would laugh , and i would be stuck at
the stage i was eating at. LOL.
took 16 than changed to 14 with the rest.
jieyi took 12. :/

Monday
started the work attachment at the singapore zoo. :)
its at least a 1hr journey there. D: but worth it . :)
took a train from tanah merah all the way to jurong east and change to the
north line all the way to choa chu kang followed by taking 927 at the
interchange where we will arrive at our destination. the zoo. :)
i got the gibbon section , rachel the reptile section and
raudhah the treetop trail.
some of the others were in night safari.

from here...just a summary of what i do everyday .
9am-10am - clean/racking the guannaco enclosure. (please , they are
not lamas . heh )
10am-10.30am - break
10.30am-10.45am - feeding time for the
white-faced saki monkeys as well as the brown lemurs.
both are what i look forward to seeing everyday. :)
10.45am-11.20am++ - cleaning of the wolf's enclosed den . ( don't worry ,
their out in the exhibit )
11.20am - 12pm - cleaning of the male guannaco's enclosed area.
its seperated from the females cos it harrased a female and
hurt it , so it was like seperated and will be from the herd for a few more days.
12pm-1pm - Lunch. ( the best part , its free and it is so DELECIOUS!! :D )
1pm-1.40pm - prepare for the public feeding at gibbon island.
1.40pm - watch the public feeding done by the keeper/trainer.
2pm - feeding of the stingray , cotton-top tamarin , sakis , brown lemurs.
2.30pm-3pm - slacking or waiting to be given orders for what to do next.
3pm- 3.30pm - tea break . :)
4pm - we are allowed to go home. but i stay for last round of feeding until 4.30pm++
4.30pm++ - wander around the shops or zoo and than we head home. :)


i have 3 trainers :)
Amy , Rajan and Wahit.
and they are awesome. haha.
taking advantage of our employee discount , me raudhah and rachel
often buy ben and jerry's ice cream or milkshakes and smoothies at a much
cheaper price! haha.
well , tmr's my 2nd last day.
hopefully it will be smooth running.
and i'm hoping to be able to make it in time for choir tmr as well.
oh well , we'll see how it goes.

DANCE is my LIFE and i'll keep LIVING it. :)
after hearing all of us share with each other today ,
and what ms sharon , aunty lily and taiyi's mum shared with us today.
i've given it a real thought.
and i really feel that dance is just not form of leisure activity.
its what i really LOVE to do.
and i ain't giving it up anytime soon. :)

all three malls while waiting for nikki to come after
her class. :)

( had to pass arshad his free linkin park cd )
took pictures , sat down . walked and nikki came at 9pm++. :D
went to have dinner at the food court and took some more pictures. :)
played at the open plaza and walked amanda to the bus stop. :)
walked back to tampinese mall with nikki to wait for her parents
to pick us up.

TODAY:
Jonas Brothers live webcast was awesome!
except for the fact that it could have been better if my com
had decided not to lag at that particular moment. >:(
which resulted in the whole screen turning white ,
and i could only hear the sound. haha.
but hey , at least i was there for the first part. :)

still aching from class on wednesday ,
and i have no idea how i'm gna survive class today . :/
ballet form 5-6.30pm , followed by choir
from 8-10pm. :)
finally singing after soooo long again. :)
the best part? i get to see the friends i miss so dearly.
and nikki too!! :D
still crossing my fingers for sunday's meetup to come through. :)
A maths is such a spoiler for the holidays , not to mention

where we were comfortable wherever we were and

now , its like we're being thrown into an unfamiliar enviroment
where we have to survive.
and look out for our friends so that they don't get left behind :)

i miss those times we had during promise of a smile concert
preperations , choir practices as well as rehearsal. :/
i wish we could get back what we lost.

MT day turned out to be quite fun :)
changed from a teacher helper to student leader.
my group consists of : qi wei , marc (LOL) , zhi hang and michelle.
our timings were not bad , almost all 5mins ++ . heh.
but my group had the same route as like 5 or 6 grps? LOL
so whenever we were at a station , we would have to wait. LONG.
us leaders left the grp members alone and started to talk among ourselves.
some of them even gambled. haha
leaders include :
shirlyn , luke , wenbao , lucas , mel , yi zhen .
but we had fun :D
after everything ended , sat in the canteen to decide where to go to eat our lunch.
ended up going to TM foodcourt with yizhen , jiahao and mel .
poor yizhen still couldn't eat. :/
at tm foodcourt we saw dang a lot of ppl haha.
first , while we were at the basement we spotted yongsoon walking out
of yoshinoya with 2 girls that were his pri school frens ( so he claims HAHA)
than when we went to the food court ,
we saw davin , ming jie and tengkang .
of course due to their height they couldn't see us .
according to mel . haha
she said " they are used to seeing things at that level " HAHA.
yizhen and mel shouted tengkang's name but davin responded LOL.
than saw , liping , lijing , gerald , sidney and sokshan at the foodcourt as well.
after we finished eating , yizhen and mel wanted to watch a movie .
so we went to check the timing , and ended up watching night at the
museum 2 at 2.30pm.
me and mel rushed to century square ; me to get rubberbands etc.
mel to check the timing for NATM 2 at CS.
saw the timing and TM's one was earlier.
so we brisk walked back.
turns out they didn't accpet nets , so yizhen had to recue. :S
sorry! haha.
managed to get the tickets and went in when the movie was just about to start. :)
the movie may i say , was awesome!!!! :D
